Matt Ryan will indeed reprise his role John Constantine -- in live-action, no less -- in the upcoming third season of DC's Legends of Tomorrow.

This revelation arrived in the Rotten Tomatoes interview with showrunner Phil Klemmer, who rattled off some of the Waverider crew's upcoming adventures, and name-dropped DC Comics' infamous magician the process.

"We get Billy Zane and the circus [in the second episode]; we get a little Julius Caesar on the beach in Aruba in the premiere," he said. "We meet [new team member] Zari in this sort of dystopian future. We get to do a little Amblin alien episode back in the ’80s; we do some Jack the Ripper Victorian London; Golden Age of Hollywood; John Constantine doing an exorcism."

Ryan starred as Constantine on NBC’s live-action 2015 series, which was canceled after just 13 episodes. The actor reprised his role on Season 4 episode of Arrow, where he helped to resurrect Sara Lance, and voiced the character earlier this year in Justice League Dark, the director-to-DVD animated movie.

Confirmation of Ryan's guest role on Legends of Tomorrow comes as Warner Bros. Animation gears up for the 2018 debut of the Constantine animated series on the CW Seed digital series. A preview of the show was released earlier today.

Returning Tuesday, Oct. 10, on The CW, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow stars Victor Garber as Martin Stein, Arthur Darvill as Rip Hunter, Dominic Purcell as Mick Rory/Heat Wave, Caity Lotz as Sara Lance/White Canary, Franz Drameh as Jefferson “Jax” Jackson/Firestorm, Brandon Routh as Ray Palmer/Atom, Maisie Richardson-Sellers as Amaya Jiwe/Vixen, and Nick Zano as Nate Heywood/Steel.
