Still parsing out the quotes from Wizard magazine, Keanu Reeves discussed his favorite scenes in the upcoming Vertigo adaptation. “There’s a showdown scene where Constantine meets the forces of darkness who are planning to make Hell on Earth, and he battle using the Holy Shotgun. There’s also quite an interesting scene between John and Satan, which is good fun.”
Speaking of Wizard magazine, they had a new photo of the Batmobile, and Freeze Dried Movies has a scan of it.
Don’t look for Joey Pants in the upcoming Jennifer Garner vehicle. When veteran actor Joe Pantoliano was interviewed at CHUD, he talks about that and the possibilities of “Daredevil 2.” “They actually bought me for Daredevil 2,” Pantoliano said, “but they have to exercise the option. No, I didn’t [have a cameo in ‘Elektra’]. I’ve been getting a lot of calls on that. As I always say, and I really believe this, there aren’t any small parts, only small paychecks. I don’t do cameos unless there’s a big paycheck next to it, a couple of zeros next to that small part.”

Comics Continuum talked to creator Darren Davis, who talked about plans to adapt the former Image Comics property. Apparently, a script has been written by 21-year-old Ali Russell, and is being produced by Paramount-based Grammnet Prods., which is headed by Kelsey Grammer. “I liked what they did with her,” Davis said. “The only difference is they made her a bit younger than in the comic. They are moving forward with casting — from what I have heard it is going to be a vehicle for a huge actress.”
