'Community's' Dan Harmon is Developing a 'Thomas the Tank Engine'-type Comedy at FX

"Community" creator Dan Harmon is teaming up with comedy group Extremely Decent for a half-hour comedy in the vein of "Thomas the Tank Engine" for FX.

"Community" creator Dan Harmon has a new project brewing over at FX with comedy group Extremely Decent. The project is called "Happy City," and will be developed by Harmon's Starburns Industries.

According to Deadline, "Happy City" will be 30-minute comedy in the style of "Thomas the Tank Engine." The show will follow the life of Tyler the taxi and his millennial friends, a helicopter and fire truck.

The show will deal with adult issues like break-ups, relationships, and work drama, despite having a child-like format. "Happy City" is currently in development, and may get picked up for the fall season.
