GOTHAMThe Wrap has posted a report from TCA 2014's coverage of "Gotham" with comments about the series from showrunner Bruno Heller about its somewhat violent nature.

"Violence, when you show it, should be disturbing," Heller said. "This is a crime story and crime is violence, essentially. If this was not a crime show, then violence would be inappropriate, but once you're in that world, it's morally correct to make it disturbing."

"That's the situation that the show is all about, is, how do you deal with crime of this level when there are no superheroes?" Heller said later. "It's about men and women, not about superheroes, and to me that's the more interesting story."

Plus, FOX has posted three new TV spots to YouTube all detailing different aspects of the upcoming series.

ANT-MAN/Film spoke with Kevin Feige about how much of "Ant-Man" will retain visual sequences planned by former director Edgar Wright.

"It wasn't the whole movie and there are new elements in the movie obviously, now, that [Wright] was not involved in," Feige told /Film. "But there are some segments that are awesome and will be brought to life in some incarnation. Peyton [Reed] certainly has all that material and is a talented enough and a secure enough guy to notice if something is really cool and go, 'No reason to change that, that's great.' Or if he's got his own spin on something to go and adapt it from there."

Empire Online also spoke with Feige about "Ant-Man," specifically about the reasons for the creative split between Marvel and Edgar Wright.

"Well, it's not worth, right now, going into that in super-specifics. I wish it wasn't as late in the day as it was, but it just had become clear that there was an impasse that we had never reached before," Feige told Empire Online. "We've worked with lots of unbelievably talented filmmakers like Edgar before, and of course there are disagreements along the way. There's always been disagreements, whether big or small; that's the collaborative nature of filmmaking and in particular the collaborative nature at Marvel that has producers, not just me, that are very involved and very opinionated. We had always found a way around it, a way to battle through it and emerge on the other side with a better product. At no point do we hire filmmakers who do everything we say, and at no point do we hire filmmakers that we let just do anything they want. There is always a middle ground that we find, and it just became clear that both of us was just being too polite over the past eight years I guess! Then it was clear that, 'Oh you're really not gonna stop talking about that note?' 'Oh, you're really not gonna do that note?' Alright, this isn't working."

HERCULESComic Book Movie has posted a new clip from "Hercules" featuring Dwayne Johnson.

Opens July 25

DC CINEMATIC UNIVERSETotal Film spoke with Dwayne Johnson during the "Hercules" press junket about his desire to play a DC Comics character, and according to the actor, there may be some big news soon -- likely at San Diego Comic-Con -- and he did a decent job of teasing what that announcement might be.

"I will say this: there's a character out there that we're going to announce very soon that I'm going to play. I'll just say this: it's the power of Superman, and it's not Green Lantern. Believe me, John Stewart is a character I wanted to play, but there was already a version of Green Lantern, so now we've gone in a different direction. This character has the power of Superman, he can throw down -- just say the word. That's all I'm going to say."
