AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D.

In an interview with CBR, Adrianne Palicki and Nick Blood spoke about their departure from "S.H.I.E.L.D." to head to a spinoff series, "Marvel's Most Wanted." They talked about their initial reaction to the episode's script.

"Excitement," said Palicki. "Not excitement at, 'Oh, we're leaving!' Excitement in the sense of the way it all comes to fruition. It's humbling and kind of like a hero's exit. With the flashbacks and the flashforwards, you really get to know these characters a little bit better."

"There was a lot of excitement already, because we had been given hints about what was happening," said Blood. "They were very generous in what they gave us with that type of exit. I loved how it was framed in between these interrogations. You see them in a position of vulnerability. The stakes are very high, and you get to see them react to that."

ARROW

The CW has released photos from the upcoming "Beacon of Hope" episode of "Arrow," which sees the return of Emily Kinney's Bug-Eyed Bandit.

BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE

Collider got the lowdown from director Zack Snyder about what types of shots will be included in "BvS'" upcoming R-rated home video release.

"There's a little bit of action, there's a little bit of violence that we trimmed out for the MPAA that we put back. The Batman warehouse rescue, there's a couple shots of Doomsday that were too intense. Then there's a little bit longer ending, sort of the ending sequence, and the opening of the movie, the North Africa sequence is really much different."

Ben Affleck has confirmed to "DC All Access" that he is working with DC Entertainment CCO Geoff Johns on something.

"Geoff Johns is a brilliant guy," said Affleck. "I consider him to be the most valued resource on all things comic book. And every time I like something in a comic I mention, he goes, 'Oh yeah, I wrote that.' Now I just think he's bullshitting me, because he says he wrote everything. He and I are working together on something and I really am excited about it and I love him. He's the best."

JUSTICE LEAGUE

Director Zack Snyder spoke to Yahoo! Movies about Batman's role in "Justice League," which will see him assembling the team.

"I'm getting ready to start 'Justice League' on the 11th of April, so in like two weeks we start shooting...and it's an intense, awesome, and gigantic undertaking because Bruce [Wayne] is having to go out and sort of 'Seven Samurai' the Justice League together, which is fun." He added, "It's slightly monumental, and at the same time they're starting to grapple with this coming threat."

"Batman v Superman" producer Deborah Snyder spoke about the tone of "justice League" saying it "is a little bit lighter, 'cause some of these characters -- you know, Flash tends to be a little bit more comedic, I'd say."

Director Zack Snyder added, "One of the things that lightens it is having Flash or having characters that are more optimistic. This movie is particular to characters who are having a crisis of conscience, which sort of draws them together."

SUPERGIRL

A quartet of new clips have been released from "Supergirl's" upcoming team-up with the Flash.

Following a screening of the team-up episode, "Supergirl's" producers discussed their dream role for Wonder Woman actress Lynda Carter.

"We had the perfect role for Lynda Carter, and we couldn't work out her schedule," said Greg Berlanti, executive producer on "Supergirl." "That's the biggest disappointment for me for this entire season."

"We're going to do it, we'll just do it next year," Andrew Kreisberg, also an EP, added.

"Alright, good," Berlanti said, before revealing the role they have in mind for Carter: "She's the female president of the United States."

CBS has released a behind-the-scenes video about the crossover ep, including interviews with Melissa Benoist and Grant Gustin.

X-MEN: APOCALYPSE

Empire has shared a photo from the film of the X-Men -- and it includes one surprising addition.

The image features director Singer surrounded by the X-Men: Beast (Nicholas Hoult), Nightcrawler (Kodi Smit-McPhee), Cyclops (Tye Sheridan), Mystique (Jennifer Lawrence), Professor X (James McAvoy), Jean Grey (Sophie Turner), Quicksilver (Evan Peters) and Storm (Alexandra Shipp). Instead of wearing her Horseman suit, it looks like Storm is wearing an X-Men team uniform, considering how similar it looks to Quicksilver's suit (which has not been seen before). The entire team looks to be wearing suits that are different from the black body armor they've been shown wearing in the trailers; Nightcrawler is notably wearing a suit that looks a lot like his comic book costume.

There's another picture of the black suits in action, though, and it features Jean and Nightcrawler.
