BOX OFFICE REPORTWell, according to ComingSoon.net, this weekend was excellent for "Guardians of the Galaxy." The Marvel Studios success story continued its incredible summer run this weekend, jumping back into first place, despite a number of new films that debuted. Its additional $17.6 million in box office gross makes it the highest-grossing film of the summer -- passing both "Transformers: Age of Extinction" and "Maleficent" -- and is on track to become the highest-grossing film of 2014, needing only $8 million to pass "The LEGO Movie" and "Captain America: The Winter Soldier."

Unfortunately, "Sin City: A Dame to Kill For" fared far worse at the box office for its opening weekend. The sequel to the 2005 film grossed $6.5 million domestically, finishing eighth overall in box office gross for the weekend.

AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRONComic Book Movie has posted scans from the latest issue of "Empire Magazine," which features photos of Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye, while director Joss Whedon looks on.

CBM has also transcribed quotes from the prose feature in "Empire," with Whedon and producer Kevin Feige discussing the upcoming Hulkbuster Iron Man battle with the Jade Giant and more.

"Ultron was the villain Joss wanted, from midway through production on the first film, to have serious repercussions for The Avengers," Feige told Empire. "We unveiled a poster here which is nothing but Ultron after Ultron after Ultron clawing at the beginning to defeat all of our Avengers. That's what a lot of this movie is about."

"The Hulkbuster is from after my time [as a reader], but even I knew what a big deal it was," Whedon said. "It makes sense because there's no one who can really go up against Hulk, but more importantly, those guys are best friends, so what that battle is and what it means is fascinating to me."

DAREDEVILWhile speaking with Zap2It about the "True Blood" series finale, actress Deborah Ann Woll discussed her next big role: Karen Page in Marvel and Netflix's "Daredevil" series.

"Well, I'm already starting to notice huge differences between the two characters [in "True Blood" and "Daredevil"]," Woll told Zap2It. "That's already kind of exciting to play. I can feel myself go, "Oh, if this was Jessica she would do this," but wanting to kind of steer differently than that. It's always going to be me in some way. I think, as an actor, that's part of it. You have to bring some of yourself to it, and that's why you have to revisit roles over and over again, so you can see different people bring themselves to the part. So it's always going to feel a little bit similar because it will always be a piece of me, but I can choose to respond differently or play things closer to the chest. It's been a really interest experience, actually, stepping outside of Jessica. It feels sort of weird. Jessica was like an old pair of jeans. I knew every rip, every stretched out spot. It just fit me just right after so many years. Karen, it's going to take a little bit of time, but I'm starting to figure out how to I fit into those clothes."
