THOR: THE DARK WORLD"Thor: The Dark World" made a big splash in the domestic box office this weekend, bringing in $86.1 million in North America -- a huge increase from the $65.7 million weekend debut of "Thor." The global total for the film is currently $449.3 million.
For those that added to the weekend total, MTV has posted a video interview about the post-credits scene that teases "Guardians of the Galaxy." Watch at your own risk if you haven't seen "Thor: The Dark World."

Crave Online spoke with Kevin Feige about a myriad of topics, including (but not limited to) the "Thor" sequel and the explanation for reconciling science, technology and magic.
"Well, I think as we get into the supernatural and 'Dr. Strange' and things like that, there's always other explanations for things," Feige told Crave Online. "We're very interested in that, as we were in 'Thor,' to say, 'Well, it might look like look like magic to you, but that's technology to them.' There could be equal explanatory layers to any of the things that we put onto film from any of our comics, just because that's interesting. Some days maybe the answer is, 'No, you could look a million different ways, the answer is it's magic.' Some characters will buy that, some characters won't. That's part of the interesting thing about this diverse universe we're creating in the movies."
Robert Kirkman discussed the possible return of the Governor and why the character hasn't yet appeared during this season of "The Walking Dead." Speaking with The Hollywood Reporter, Kirkman and showrunner Scott Gimple addressed why the Governer hasn't yet shown his face.
"It's not that we don't like that character," Kirkman told THR. "It's just that we needed to give that character a break. Going right back into that would seem like more retread of Season 3 and that's the thing we don't want to do. ... We like to keep people guessing and he definitely will return this season. Just when you think things are getting to a breaking point, that's when The Governor layer will be thrown in to make things that much more deadly and dangerous. It's going to be a really big, memorable moment in the show."
Meanwhile, AMC has posted three new clips from the show: a sneak peek for the upcoming episode, "Live Bait" and two behind-the-scenes videos from the latest episode, "Internment."

BATMAN/SUPERMAN"Man of Steel" director Zack Snyder answered fan questions over the weekend, discussing specifically the controversial choice Superman made to kill General Zod, saying that Superman had no other choice when it came to Zod.
"He's fighting his equal. He has no advantage," said Snyder. "Zod's a warrior, has trained his entire life, can fight 100 times better than Superman. Technically, he's outgunned in that scenario, and he should lose."
The Q&A took place over at Yahoo! Movies, which also posted a video of the Q&A with both Snyder and actor Michael Shannon
"It's a real world problem," Snyder said. "I think the effect on Superman, it is a deeply difficult decision for him to make. It's not a thing that he takes lightly, and you can see it affects him pretty profoundly. And maybe we'll see the repercussions of that in the next film. How that's affected him, making that decision... Maybe."
Meanwhile, The Wrap had begun the rumor that Warner Bros. is eyeing Adam Driver for the role of Dick Grayson in the "Man of Steel" sequel. Still a rumor, and these casting rumors have turned out to be wrong in the past, so take it with a grain of salt.

STAR WARSBloomberg TV spoke with Disney CEO Bob Iger about the recent announcement of a December release for "Star Wars: Episode VII."
"This is obviously one of the most important films we're working on right now," said Iger. "One of the things that was very important to us is we give J.J. Abrams and his writing team the time to design, write and produce the film so we can optimize quality or so we can create a great film, so they can create a great film -- very, very important. At one point, we considered the summer of 2015, but it felt like -- especially with some of the changes we made in the writing team -- that that was going to create a bit of a rush and we didn't think that was optimal for obvious reasons."
Additionally, the BBC reports that those looking to get cast in the upcoming film can submit a video audition through Cast It Talent. While open auditions are still going to be held in Manchester, Glasgow, Dublin and London, over 2500 people showed up in Bristol to audition for the film's two lead roles. Only 75 people were called back from the Saturday auditions.
