CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR

IGN's "Civil War" set visit includes a quote from co-writer Christopher Markus wherein he talks about Black Widow's role in the film.

"It's difficult, because she's not trained to take sides," said Markus. "She's trained to be a duplicitous double-agent and have loyalties for sale. Obviously, she's well on her way to not being that person, but it's still... Standing up next to someone and taking a side and going 'No, I believe in this!' is counter to her nature. So in a way, it's almost the toughest for her than anybody to go, 'This is my side and I'm sticking to it.'"

Ahead of a new trailer for "Civil War," Marvel has released a pair of promos focusing on each side.

Grant Gustin shared a set photo of John Wesley Shipp on Instagram. The moment comes from an upcoming episode of "The Flash," but, as Gustin writes, "what the F is happening?"

At some point in the history of time, I sat across from this beautiful, kind & giving man that plays my father on television. That is when I took this picture. This moment will in fact be on television at some point. But when? And what the F is happening? Other than John Wesley Shipp looking GQ af. A photo posted by Grant Gustin (@grantgust) on

JUSTICE LEAGUE

While chatting with FilmInk, director Zack Snyder discussed how "Batman v Superman" will set up "Justice League."

"I tried to have as much fun with [the expanded universe] as possible, maybe because I love comic books and I love the potential for that kind of madness," said Snyder. "We've been talking a lot about where we're going to go with 'Justice League'...we kind of knew what 'Justice League' was going to be pretty early on, which allowed us to lay the groundwork in a lot of ways. When you see the movie, you'll really get a sense that there's a second layer coming, and filtering down through the film, as far as what's possible. We slowly introduce the other characters and how they play and what is their purpose and where they are in the world."
