THOR: THE DARK WORLD
With “Thor: The Dark World” less than two weeks away from North American release, promotion continues to ramp up for the film. Jaimie Alexander spoke with Beyond the Trailer about her portrayal of Sif and her possible future in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
“You’ll see a fair share, you see a softer side of her, a more vulnerable side and more of her personality comes out in this movie,” Alexander said. “And of course, there’s going to be some battle sequences.” The actress also said viewers can expect to see more of the character in the future. “I can’t tell you why, but yes, you will.”
Meanwhile, /Film spoke with Kevin Feige about the “Thor” franchise and whether there might be a third film featuring the God of Thunder and his Asgardian compatriots.
“Yeah, I don’t think [viewers will see Loki again] before ‘Thor 3’ if there is a ‘Thor 3’ and while we certainly have ideas of where we would like that to go, there are no specifics,” Feige said. “We have to see how this one does and then go from there.”
Finally, MTV spoke with Chris Hemsworth about a scene in the upcoming film where he goes shirtless.
“That [scene] kind of came from Joss actually. He just said that there needed to be something romantic in there,” Hemsworth told MTV. “Then he said, ‘Chris, get your shirt off.’ I said, ‘Well, I don’t know. What’s the why? What are we doing?’ The justification was that it was him coming home from battle, washing blood off his hands. It is what it is. How do I answer that without sounding like an idiot?”

AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D.
Latino Review has posted a new casting rumor for “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.”: “Troy” actor Saffron Burrows is rumored to be cast as Victoria Hand. The character played a big role in Marvel’s “Dark Reign” storyline as Norman Osborn’s second-in-command. After “Siege,” Hand played a role in “New Avengers.” Should the character show up in “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.,” it’s unknown what the capacity of the role would be. Take this one with a grain of salt as it’s still an unconfirmed rumor, but it’s certainly a move that would make sense for the show strengthening its connection to the Marvel source material.
