AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRONMTV spoke with "Avengers: Age of Ultron" actor Mark Ruffalo at Sundance Film Festival, where he elaborated a bit on the tone of Joss Whedon's script for the anticipated sequel.

"I would say that it's better, it's cooler, it's more awesomer," Ruffalo told MTV. "It's a little bit darker, but also really has Joss Whedon's incredibly, witty and sly sense of humor. ... [Bruce Banner] gets to do such great stuff."

GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXYIn other Marvel Cinematic Universe news, Comic Book Movie has posted an quotes from this month's issue of Total Film magazine, which contains an interview with "Guardians of the Galaxy" director James Gunn.

"Dan Abnett and Andy Lanning's series from 2008 and the stuff after that is really the linchpin for the movie," Gunn told Total Film. "But I think it's less about taking actual story-points and more about taking what is the essence and feeling of that series. ... For me this movie is about family. It's about a bunch of people that don't have a family and they learn to love each other. And I think it's about giving a shit. I think we live in a world where we're taught that not giving a shit is the coolest thing, and this is a movie that says it's really OK to give a shit."

Meanwhile, there are some new promotional images for the movie that hit last week, found on various drink receptacles.
