AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRONElizabeth Olsen has confirmed her role as the Scarlet Witch in "Avengers: Age of Ultron." Olsen will join newly-cast actor Aaron Taylor-Johnson (who plays Quicksilver) in the anticipated "Avengers" sequel.

"We get to play husband and wife, and we get to play twin brother and sister," Olsen told MTV of working again with Taylor-Johnson. "It's also fun because even though in 'Godzilla' we play husband and wife, we don't have a lot of scenes together. I just love him, I love his family, I love his kids. I'm so excited ... to actually work with each other. I think it's going to be fun."

Screenrant spoke with Olsen about her prepwork for the role, which (unsurprisingly) involves reading a lot of comics.

"So far I'm just doing a lot of reading right now on Scarlet Witch and it's really exciting," Olsen told Screenrant. "But the imagination, like to a child, and like running around in a play yard is what it feels like right now. And that sounds like so much fun, but you still want to approach it with the same kind of like 'No, this is where she's from,' and it's real. And that's what's fun about it. Let them put on the costume or do the special whatever-they-need-to-do to make it look special, but I'll just do my part - it just has more extreme things to it. [Laughs] I'm like really excited about Scarlet Witch."

OUTCASTCinemax has won a bidding war for the TV rights to Robert Kirkman and Paul Azaceta's upcoming "Outcast" series for Image Comics. The pilot has received a script commitment with a large penalty should the pilot not get produced. Kirkman is onboard to write the pilot and will executive produce alongside David Alpert.

"Despite the success of 'The Walking Dead,' Outcast is only my second foray into the horror genre," Kirkman said via Press Release. "I think Kyle Barnes is every bit as compelling as Rick Grimes and demonic possession is way scarier than zombies -- so this is going to be fun. Starting a new project is like setting off on an long journey and I couldn't ask for better travel companions than David Alpert and [FIC's] Sharon Tal Yguado and I'm thrilled to be a part of what Cinemax has planned for the next few years."

MALEFICENTThe official Facebook page for "Maleficent" has debuted a glimpse of Angelina Jolie as the evil "Sleeping Beauty" protagonist.
