COMIC REEL: New “The Winter Soldier” Clips; “Fantastic Four” Casting News

“Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” aired its latest episode last night as a part of its current “Uprising” event, bringing along with it a new teaser promo for its upcoming episode “Turn, Turn, Turn.”

Also, Comic Book Movie has dug up a few images from the episode “Providence,” which features Patton Oswalt as Eric Koenig, and a new spoiler-ish picture of Bill Paxton as Agent John Garrett.

Airs Tuesdays on ABC

“The Walking Dead” may have only concluded its fourth season recently, but AMC has already released a poster teasing the fifth season featuring Andrew Lincoln as Rick Grimes.

Airs Sundays on AMC

New clips abound for “Captain America: The Winter Soldier,” including one from Fandango that sees Nick Fury in a dangerous car chase during his effort to get off the grid.

Marvel has also released a new clip of Chris Evans as Steve Rogers taking down a whole S.H.I.E.L.D. plane single-handedly.

Opens Friday

Toby Kebbell has reportedly joined 20th Century Fox’s “Fantastic Four” reboot as Doctor Doom. Kebbell — who has a role in “Dawn of the Planet of the Apes” — was one of the four reported contenders for the role last month. Kebbell joins the already-cast core four actors Miles Teller, Kate Mara, Michael B. Jordan and Jamie Bell.

Opens July 14, 2017

@yvrshoots on Twitter has posted a photo of a stunt fall for the CW’s adaptation of “iZombie.” Nothing too exciting here, but it’s cool to see some of the behind-the-scenes stuff.

More casting news for “Gotham” has surfaced — Cory Michael Smith has been cast as Edward Nygma, the man who will become The Riddler. While Smith’s role is currently a guest star, reports indicate that there is an option for him to become a series regular.
