AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D.

You can check out a recap of last night's episode, "Scars," over on Spinoff. ABC has aired a promo for next week's two-part season finale, titled "S.O.S."

In a new interview with CBR, Brett Dalton discussed what it was like for his Agent Ward to reunite with the rest of the series' other original stars.

"It was really cool. We hadn't even really been on set that often at the same time," said Dalton. "I had the occasional scene with Skye, maybe one with Clark, but I hadn't even worked with these guys practically since Season 1. Yeah, it was a little awkward. Yes, there were a ton of inside jokes between the actors where I was like, 'Hey, cool. What are you guys talking about?' There was catching up that needed to be done.

"I think they cast us because we do all have such great chemistry together," he continued. "They cast good people in addition to good actors, so we all genuinely love each other. It was great to be in the same room with all of them again. And I, much like the character, wanted to just forget all about the other stuff. 'Let's pretend we're back together again. We actually did have something.'"

THE FLASH

You can check out a recap of last night's episode, "Grodd Lives," over on Spinoff. The CW has also released a trailer for next week's installment, "Rogue Air."

The network has also released a deleted scene from the episode, which features Barry and Caitlin feeding their prisoners.

In an interview with MTV, cast member Candice Patton opened up about what it means to play Iris West on the show.

"It's so weird because when I was thinking about pilot season before I went in for 'The Flash,' I just remember saying to myself, 'I would love to get a role that changes the landscape of being an African American woman in television and film,'" said Patton. "And lo and behold I got 'Flash,' playing a traditionally white character, and I didn't realize what would come with that. It's been incredibly difficult, but at the same time I've been in a position to give a lot of young actors that look like me hope that more characters are going to be written like Iris West and Joe West. And not even just actors. I get comments all the time on Twitter, and fan mail about how amazing it is to see me play Iris West: a strong woman. It's not really about her being black, she just happens to be black. Someone tweeted me the other day during [the last episode] and said, 'I'm watching 'The Flash' with my five year old and she is looking at you and she said, 'Iris West looks like me, we're both beautiful.'' I mean, I literally could cry."
