AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON

Marvel Studios has revealed the official poster for "Avengers: Age of Ultron"via the Avengers' Twitter page. The poster features the entire core Avengers unit -- Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, Black Widow, Hawkeye and Hulk -- as well as Nick Fury and new recruits Scarlet Witch, Quicksilver and Vision. In the image, the ten heroes all try to hold their own against a swarming legion of Ultron drones and the debris kicked up by their assault.

Close inspection of the poster reveals three names in the credits that have not previously been announced: Anthony Mackie (Falcon), Hayley Atwell (Peggy Carter) and Idris Elba (Heimdall).

SPIDER-MAN

Now that there's been a resurgence of rumors about Donald Glover and Spider-Man, the "Today Show" used their recent chat with the former "Community" actor to ask him about Marvel's wall-crawler.

"I can't say I'm the next Spider-Man," Glover said to the "Today Show." When asked the opposite, if he could confirm that he wasn't the next Spider-Man, Glover responded, "I can't say that either. I mean, it's not out yet... There's been talkings about it. I mean, I'd be honored to play it. It's really not up to me."

SUICIDE SQUAD

While walking the red carpet at Sunday's Oscars, Viola Davis talked about the role of Amanda Waller to CTV, thus finally confirming her involvement with the project. You can see Davis and her husband discuss the comic book film in the video below.

SUPERGIRL

TV Line has reported that CBS' "Supergirl" series is looking for a Superman. A listing on ProjectCasting.com reveals that the pilot is looking for an actor "5-foot-11 or taller," "square-jawed" and has "a ripped physique" to play the body double for "a DC Comic Superhero." While the listing itself may be vague, actors must e-mail their applications with the subject "Superman."

THE WALKING DEAD

AMC has released a pair of photos from this weekend's episode, "Remember," that feature the "Walking Dead" cast on the move.

X-MEN: APOCALYPSE





Variety has reported that Ben Hardy has joined the cast of "X-Men: Apocalypse" in an as yet unrevealed -- but significant -- role. He is most known overseas for his role in the BBC soap "EastEnders."
