THE FLASH (FILM)

As reported by Collider, The Wrap's Jeff Sneider dropped a rumor about the upcoming "Flash" film while on Meet The Movie Press. It sounds like Warner Bros. wants "LEGO Movie" directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller to helm "The Flash."

"We've just heard a bit of a tug of war going on between Warner Bros. and Sony, which would like the same two directors for one of its big franchise movies," said Sneider. "If maybe Warner Bros. wanted them for The Flash and Sony wanted them for a Ghostbusters movie, which would Lord and Miller do?"

Marvel has released images for this week's "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." episode, titled "Afterlife."

ARROW

E! Online has a quick interview with David Ramsey wherein he reveals a potential plot point from next season.

"From my understanding, H.I.V.E. is going to be a big part of next season's big baddie," said Ramsey. "We are going to delve right into why H.I.V.E. hired Deadshot to kill [Diggle's brother] Andy and what H.I.V.E. is all about to begin with. There will be a lot of Diggle's connection to H.I.V.E. next season so stay tuned."

During an appearance at FanExpo in Vancouver, Stephen Amell talked briefly about the role he might play in the upcoming spinoff show. ComicBook.com has a transcription of the relevant part.

"I would imagine that I will be appearing on all three shows," said Amell. "I would imagine that we will be sprinkling characters in. I know that there's a plan for one character who originated on 'Arrow' and is not one of the main characters on the new spinoff to sort of hover between all three shows and that will be their job, so to speak. So you'll see a lot of interconnectivity next year." You can watch the panel below.
