AGENT CARTER

You can check out a recap of last night's episode, "Better Angels," elsewhere on CBR. ABC has also aired a promo for next week's episode, "Smoke & Mirrors."

CBR has an interview with Chad Michael Murray and Kurtwood Smith wherein the two discuss their characters' relationship.

Kurtwood Smith: Well, let's see: I work for the War Department. I can say that. It's one of the first things they say. I have a connection with Chad's character from way back.

Chad Michael Murray: Some family history between Jack.

Smith: Family history -- that's the word. So that's what brings me in, and then everything else just kind of develops. I can't tease you too much about that, but I'm around a while, I'll tell you that because I'm still here... It's so hard to tell you without giving stuff away, and I just got counseled to not give stuff away! Anyway, it's a great deal of fun. I'm just having a fabulous time in the show. I work a lot with Chad. We've done several scenes together, and it's been great fun. We've had a lot of fun, and our character relationship does grow and change throughout the series.

CBR also spoke with James D'Arcy, who plays Jarvis. Included in the interview is a bit about why Jarvis hates LA so much.

"What's right with L.A.? [Laughs] I think, in Jarvis's world, it's too hot. Have you seen this suit?" said D'Arcy. "This suit's okay now, but this suit, when we started shooting at the beginning of September, was misery. Misery! And I think the writers did it to me on purpose. In fact, I'm actually certain they spent half a day unable to write, they were so gleefully enjoying the fact that they were going to put me in a three-piece, woolen suit in the middle of summer -- in the middle of a heat wave, as well! What else doesn't he like about it? [There is a] scene where I talk about what exactly I think about L.A. That was, by the way, just a number of pitches of what we could have said. Reasons not to like Los Angeles -- by the way, I personally like L.A. very much -- just to create that little separation."

THE FLASH

There's a recap for "The Reverse-Flash Returns" over here on CBR. There's also a promo for next week's episode, "Fast Lane."

In an interview with Variety, EP Andrew Kreisberg teased the upcoming Earth-2 two-parter.

"13 and 14 are a two-parter," said Kreisberg. "13 is called 'Welcome to Earth-2' and 14 is 'Escape from Earth-2,' so the majority of those episodes will be taking place on Earth-2 and there'll definitely be a couple more visits throughout the course of the season. We liken it to the time-travel plan that we had for last season which was to slowly let people in, and then once they understood it, to really start to embrace it. It was around this time last year that we did the big time-travel episode so we feel like we're treading in those waters again where we've been hinting at Earth-2 and you've seen fleeting glimpses of it, but now the audience understands what it means and they're able to step into it."

"Days of Our Lives" alum Allison Paige has joined "The Flash" as Trajectory, the show's first female speedster. According to TVLine, Trajectory arrives in Central City with a penchant for chaos. Eliza Harmon -- who goes by Trajectory when in costume -- will debut in episode 16. After she stirs up some trouble in Central City, Barry gets the blame, which drives him to find her and stop her before she completely ruins his reputation.

WONDER WOMAN

During an appearance on "Jimmy Kimmel Live," actor Chris Pine spoke about being part of "Wonder Woman."

"I think what's really neat about it is that with all of the Thors and the Captain Kirks... I feel like with men at the helm, it's always this kind of revenge cycle thing," Pine explained. "It's an eye for an eye, 'We're gonna go get the bad guys' and the bad guys are defeated. What I think is really lovely having a woman at the helm of something like this is just, by virtue of her being a woman, there's a great deal more compassion, love at the center of the story which -- for something as big as a film as this is going to be and with the kind of eyes that will watch it -- I think it's wonderful. The little bit we can do to inch this universe towards something not as aggressive and as violent as this world can be."
