GOTHAM

You can check out a recap of last night's episode, "Mommy's Little Monster," over here. And there's a promo for next week's episode, "Tonight's the Night."

In an interview with THR, Robin Lord Taylor discussed the effect that recent death of Penguin's mother will have on him.

"His mother was his tether to humanity, and she offered the only love he really experienced in his life," said Taylor. "To lose that is absolutely devastating, but in a way it's freeing. He feels tremendous guilt about his role in her death, and it'll be interesting to see what happens if he can ever come to terms with that. In a way, his shred of humanity has been ripped away from him. It's a huge transition for him."

"Sons of Anarchy" star Tommy Flanagan has joined "Gotham" season two as a new character called the Knife. According to ComicBook.com's description of the character, Flanagan will play "one of Gotham's most dangerous denizens. His charming, stylish shell and good humor mask a remorseless hitman whose skills are at the service of the highest bidder. He will sit with you, laugh with you, and then cut your throat."

That crossover episode, titled "Haunted," has also been leaked online. TorrentFreak reports the leak appears to have stemmed from a preview copy released by Warner Bros. The leak's source is unknown, but a warning screen before the episode reveals that it was pirated from a preview copy. In addition to Warner Bros.' warning that this copy may not be distributed, it reads, "The episode contained on this DVD is a rough cut and is not final. It may be missing key special visual effects, and additional sound effects and music are temporary." The episode has since been uploaded to public and private torrent sites.

DEADPOOL

While talking to USA Today, Deadpool co-creator Rob Liefeld gave his first impression of the script.

"When I read the script in 2010, my mouth was on the floor," said Liefeld. "It was the R-rated spectacle you're going to see in February. And for it to go this long without them screwing with the script is a miracle. It's a credit to [screen writers] Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick's genius." He added, "The movie is a powerhouse. It's raw ... I don't know how you come out of the theater as someone between the age of 18-30 without this being your favorite movie."

In a talk with TV Line, Grant Gustin discussed the burgeoning romance between Barry Allen and Patty Spivot.

"They just get along really well, and it's kind of effortless," said Gustin. "They are interested in a lot of the same stuff. And it's an escape for Barry right now because everything else is heavy in his life, other than his relationship with Patty."

Candice Patton also talked about whether or not Iris West will ever have a relationship with Patty Spivot. "We won't see a relationship with Iris and Patty for a while in Season 2," said Patton. "We're moving into Episode 10 now, and it's less of a business relationship that Iris and Patty have. It's more of a friendship where they ask each other for advice. It's going to be really nice to see two women share a common love for a man, in a different way at this point, to having a bonding experience over that."
