X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PASTThe Hollywood Reporter spoke with "X-Men: Days of Future Past" actor Evan Peters about his role as Quicksilver in the film, as well as filming his integral scene.

"It was really cool because in the elevator me and [Michael] Fassbender got to improvise a lot and just play around, which is so much fun," Peters said. "He's such a cool guy. Then we get upstairs to the kitchen and it's all very technical. There are a lot of motion capture camera moves and you are shooting with a phantom camera, which shoots in super slow motion - and the room is brighter than any sunny day. And there are these four guys keeping their eyes open and pretending to be frozen. And I'm just running around pretending to move them. There's a section of the scene where I'm moving the arms of two cops, so their guns will move. Then I'm supposed to sprint to the other end of the room to prevent the bullets from hitting my friends -- but there's water all over the floor and I slip and fall - I just eat shit. [Laughs]"

The four-day opening numbers for "Days of Future Past" are in, and it looks like analysts were correct -- it hit $111 million domestically and ended with $302 million worldwide, which makes it the best debut of any X-Men film. However, it still trailed behind the $122.9 four-day opening of "X-Men: The Last Stand."

Finally, ComingSoon.net has posted a first look at the deluxe edition Blu-ray for the film -- even though it just released in theaters on Friday.

Now in theaters

STAR WARSThe Guardian has posted a report from Hay festival's event with Carrie Fisher about her return to the role of Princess Leia.

"We are doing it over again so I can get Princess Leia right this time," Fisher told onlookers. "I think less British. I looked a little pretentious faking the accent. It was sort of a viral accent -- it came and went. I would rather have played Han Solo. When I first read the script I thought that's the part to be, always wry and sardonic. He's always that. I feel like a lot of the time Leia's either worried or pissed or, thank God, sort of snarky. But I'm much more worried and pissed than Han Solo ever was, and those aren't fun things to play."

Episode VII opens December 18, 2015

INSIDE OUTPixar has sneakily released new details for its upcoming animated film, "Inside Out." The "Upcoming" section of the Pixar website (via EW.com) features an official synopsis and cast listing. The film is slated for release next year.

From the tepuis of South America to a monster-filled metropolis, Academy Award®-winning director Pete Docter has taken audiences to unique and imaginative places. In 2015, he will take us to the most extraordinary location of all - inside the mind of an 11-year-old named Riley.

Growing up can be a bumpy road, and it's no exception for Riley, who is uprooted from her Midwest life when her father starts a new job in San Francisco. Like all of us, Riley is guided by her emotions - Joy (Amy Poehler), Fear (Bill Hader), Anger (Lewis Black), Disgust (Mindy Kaling) and Sadness (Phyllis Smith). The emotions live in Headquarters, the control center inside Riley's mind, where they help advise her through everyday life. As Riley and her emotions struggle to adjust to a new life in San Francisco, turmoil ensues in Headquarters. Although Joy, Riley's main and most important emotion, tries to keep things positive, the emotions conflict on how best to navigate a new city, house and school.
