SUPERMAN/BATMANOver the weekend, various sites, including Screenrant, linked to a rumor from Nuke the Fridge concerning the possibility of Denzel Washington taking on the role of Green Lantern John Stewart in the super-sized Man of Steel sequel. Their source claims Washington is being "considered" for the role instead of Lex Luthor as previously reported. While I've always thought John would make an easier transition to live action than Hal, I'm not sure Washington is the best name for the part. Come to think of it, he is pretty much perfect for Lex. But, as always, time will tell if this turns out to be true or just garbled rumors on the internet.

Next, Superhero Hype links to director Marc Webb's appearance on Good Morning America, advertising the webslinger's involvement in the New Year's Eve celebrations:

And finally, Superhero Hype also reports that the Daily Bugle viral site now features an article referencing Shocker and Sin Eater. Excessive? Maybe, but why not have Peter Parker outnumbered by his enemies?
