CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR

CBM has spotted another alternate take on the standard “Civil War” poster, this one featuring both Captain America and Iron Man in their helmets.

AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D.

ABC has released a new clip for tonight’s episode of “S.H.I.E.L.D,” “Watchdogs.”

There are also new pics for next week’s ep, “Spacetime.”

AQUAMAN

Superhero Hype caught up with director James Wan at WonderCon and asked him if Patrick Wilson, whose voice can be heard as the President of the United States in “Batman v Superman,” might have a role in “Aquaman.” Wan previously worked with Wilson on “The Conjuring” and “Insidious.”

“You just might!” said Wan, when asked about Wilson’s possible role.

Wan also had plenty more to say about “Aquaman” during his WonderCon appearance. He spoke about the tone he wants the film to have: “I would love to capture the fun spirit of high-sea adventures, treasure hunts, sea monsters. That’s the spirit that I’m going for. Swashbuckling.”

He also spoke about Zack Snyder’s involvement with the film. “Well, I think the story that I would like to tell is still at the end of the day my story,” Wan told CinemaBlend. “And that’s what’s cool with Zack [Snyder], is that he’s actually very respectful of that. He’s actually helping me out in some ways with certain things that he’s doing with his [films] so that I can have better groundwork with the standalone Aquaman story.”

BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE

While speaking with CB.com at “BvS'” red carpet premiere, Diane Lane spoke about the DC film’s relationship with the real world.

“It’s not a break. It’s not a reprieve,” said Lane. “Where a lot of these films tend to be a vacay, the real world feels gentle after this film because if this stuff started to really happen, that wouldn’t be cool. We would all be freaking out, and that’s where this film takes us to.”

Producer Deborah Snyder also spoke with Collider about — Spoiler alert — the film’s Flash cameo. Following Batman’s hellish “knightmare” of a world overrun by Superman and his shock troops, a possibly-dreaming Bruce Wayne encounters a time-traveling Flash, who has run back in time to warn him of future events.

“This was kind of the opposite [of ‘Breaking Bad’] because we had the script and it wasn’t in the script,” said Snyder, referring to “Breaking Bad’s” penchant to take plot turns without knowing where they may lead. “As we started, then we worked on our script, I think we were in the middle of shooting and we started working on the outline for the next movie and where they go, and Zack said, ‘Oh my God let’s add this moment that is gonna pay off down the road, and we’ll find out more information.'” Flash is next expected to pop up in 2017’s “Justice League” film, which will be directed by Zack Snyder and begins production in mid-April.

Warner Bros. also released a deleted scene from “BvS” that features Lex Luthor communicating with a creature.

SUPERGIRL

You can read a recap of last night’s Supergirl and Flash team-up right here. Executive producers Greg Berlanti and Andrew Kreisberg spoke in-depth about the crossover, bringing up the likelihood of a future crossover with “Arrow.”

“For me, [The Flash] was the door, the gateway,” Berlanti said. “He was the only one who had the capacity to really open that door, and hopefully now it’s open. In a perfect world, it probably would have been both of them — it’s not just ‘The Flash,’ it’s ‘Arrow,’ too. But logistically that would have been a nightmare at this point in the year to try and do it to both shows.”

Italia Ricci also spoke with CBR about her debut as Silver Banshee.

“We had three separate hair and makeup tests. The first look was quite a bit different than what she ended up looking like. It was more of a kabuki-face paint thing,” said Ricci. “Then it was a long black and white wig. It was very full. It was almost sort of Tim Burton-y. They wanted to add prosthetics, so I went and got fitted. Then we did another test and another test. Originally, she slowly turns into Silver Banshee and then that’s her permanent form. But, they wanted to keep the option open of her turning into Siobhan. Livewire sort of creates this look for her. We wanted it to be something she puts on.”
