X-MEN: APOCALYPSE

In his latest Instagram post, director Bryan Singer can be seen walking through the rubble of 1983 Cairo. In the comics, Storm hails from Cairo; judging by this post, it looks like we'll get to see a bit of Storm in her hometown -- and we'll maybe get to see it come under attack from Apocalypse.

AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D.

As production ramps up on "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s" third season, the show's cast are getting back into character -- and one cast member in particular is getting a comic-inspired makeover. Now that we know that Chloe Bennet's Skye is actually Daisy Johnson from the comics, it looks like the show is finally getting around to giving the Inhuman S.H.I.E.L.D. agent the signature shorn look Quake rocks in the comics. Bennet posted the following video to her Instagram account, saying goodbye to the tresses she's sported for the past two seasons.

ANT-MAN

In an interview with CinemaBlend, director Peyton Reed revealed the original ending for "Ant-Man." Of course, spoilers below for the actual ending of "Ant-Man."

"At the end of the movie [Martin Donovan's S.H.I.E.L.D. turncoat character Mitchell Carson] gets away and has these Cross particles, and there was a sequence where Ant-Man has an encounter with him," Reed explained. "But then for a couple reasons, it felt like maybe we should leave those particles out there. In that original thing, he took Martin Donovan out and got the particles." This of course means that the Cross Particles, Darren Cross' recreation of the Pym Particles, are still out there somewhere in the MCU.

CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR

More "Ant-Man" spoilers can be found below, regarding Evangeline Lilly's near inclusion in "Captain America: Civil War." Spoilers, engage! In an interview with SlashFilm, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige revealed that Hope Van Dyne was included in early drafts of "Civil War" in her Wasp identity, which she receives in the mid-credits scene of "Ant-Man."

"She was included in early versions of 'Civil War' but there are so many characters in 'Civil War' that we didn't want to do her a disservice, like she flies in, 'I've got the costume now', and she flies out," said Feige. "With Ant-Man, and I'm not saying thats what Ant-Man does in the movie, but we already know him, we've already seen him. We haven't seen her as Wasp and we don't want to rob the opportunity of seeing her in the outfit for at least almost the first time, and seeing her dynamic with Scott in a way it could play out, so we're saving it. But its going to be in Phase three for sure."

Feige didn't mention when we would see Lilly next, but he did say she will definitely have a part to play in a Phase 3 film. "It's a good question, and it will certainly be in phase three. Where exactly in phase three I'm not sure, but it won't be in 'Civil War.'"

Spoilers, disengage!

According to "Gotham's" producers, Barnes "lands on the GCPD like a tornado, ripping out the dead wood of Gotham's police force. He is a law and order zealot; unafraid of making enemies -- on either side of the law. For Gordon, Barnes is a hero and a mentor, someone with whom he can share the burden of heroism. Captain Barnes proves himself to be a strong ally to Gordon... but one day he will make an equally powerful enemy."

JESSICA JONES

Jessica Jones co-creator Brian Michael Bendis wrote about the upcoming Netflix series based on the character, giving it high praise. "The show is so good," wrote Bendis on his Tumblr. "I have seen the first couple of episodes and because i didn't work on it directly i can say this with full no ego fanfare: i loved it!!"

Bendis went on to state that he would have been harder on the show than anyone else, as he said that Jones is "part of my DNA." But even though his commitment to PlayStation's "Powers" kept him from being hands-on with the Marvel show, he said "Jessica Jones" is "faithful and lively and everything that I could personally have wanted from the show."

He also praised the series' actors: "krysten ritter is soooo good. and michael colter. wait until you see michael colter. the casting of luke cage, in my opinion, and have said this to everyone behind the scenes, is as strong and spot on as the casting of tony stark. its probably the hardest to cast and they got it. perfect."
