X-MEN: APOCALYPSE
Despite many fans' hopes that Taylor Swift would be making her X-movie debut in a cameo role as Dazzler in "X-Men: Apocalypse" -- thanks to a still tweeted by Sophie Turner, which includes a "1989" reference, and a photo posted by producer Simon Kinberg with Swift alongside the film's cast -- Swift has shot down the rumor.
Swift reportedly told Gossip Cop that the rumors of her appearance in the film are simply "not true" -- in line with Kinberg, who told MTV, "No, there's nothing to it...I know where [the rumor] came from, because it's my fault."
Additionally, Fox has released a new featurette for the film, spotlighting the history of the titular big bad:
The studio also revealed a new promotional poster for the film, along with announcing a global fan screening on their Twitter page for May 9:
AQUAMAN
James Wan has responded to rumors that suggest he's dropping out of directing "Aquaman," taking to Twitter with the following posts that imply he's still very much involved with the project:
