X-MEN: APOCALYPSEOlivia Munn, recently announced as Psylocke, added a curious photo to her Instagram account.:

If the latex fits... A photo posted by Olivia Munn (@oliviamunn) on

It's clear she's championing Betsy's classic ninja leotard look, but I'll admit that I'm more of a fan of her more recent costume.

AVENGERS: INFINITY WARVulture writer Kyle Buchanan posted an interesting outtake from his interview with "Age of Ultron" director Joss Whedon that suggests other villains may appear in the two-part Avengers story.

"Plenty more" villains can definitely get the mind racing. Shame these movies take so long to make.Part I release date: May 4th, 2018

SUPERMAN V. BATMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICEThe trailer drops on Monday, the 20th of April. It will also appear at select IMAX theaters that day because director Zack Snyder likes his large formats, though he suggests RSVPing via the film's official site as space is limited. He's also made a twenty second tease available via his Twitter account:

WONDER WOMANAs we reported here at CBR, "Monster" director Patty Jenkins will direct the film following the departure of "Breaking Bad" alum Michelle MacLaren. Jenkins was attached to direct "Thor: The Dark World," but left over "creative differences" -- not unlike MacLaren from "Wonder Woman." That phrase is a popular one when directors leave high profile projects. Studios like to use for a variety of reasons, even the occasional, actual difference in vision. It will likely always be unclear why MacLaren walked away, but Jenkins is a worthy replacement. As we noted, The Hollywood Reporter claims Jenkins "has closed a deal" on the film, meaning its all systems go.

CAPTAIN MARVELMeanwhile, Collider is reheating an old rumor that Angelina Jolie may be applying for directorship of the Carol Corps. Citing an earlier CNET article (which itself names tabloid OK Magazine as its source), they write "we now have confirmation that she's definitely under consideration for the job." Granted, this rumor began circulating early Wednesday with some claiming she was being considered for both "Wonder Woman" and "Captain Marvel." Collider updated its initial article with the news that Jenkins was in for "Wonder Woman," but it doesn't rule out the possibility that Jolie has, at the very least, talked to both studios. Not that anyone has ever noted such a meeting as happening, mind...

GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY 2According to the Film Divider Twitter account, the most recent issue of Production Weekly refers to the sequel as "Guardians 3000." I imagine that's just a working title, but make of it what you will and what role Yondu might have in it.

FLASH GORDONGet your best Brian Blessed impressions ready. As CBR reported yesterday, "Kick-Ass" director Matthew Vaughn is in talks to bring back "Flash Gordon" and save every one of us. Vaughn will direct the picture for 20th Century Fox, so its unclear if he can get the rights to the boss Queen soundtrack. That said, Vaughn is very much the right guy for the job of bringing the colorful, action-packed and occasionally hokey comic strip to the big screen.

AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRONI've been parsing so much "Avengers" press the last few days, I actually had a dream about the movie the other night and I never have dreams about movies! Okay, fine ... Clive Barker's Cenobites occasionally get into my REM cycles, but here's some more fuel for my subconscious as Marvel offers a longer version of the Hammer Lift scene:

Directed by Joss Whedon & starring everybody. Release date: May 1st, 2015
