CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR

Anthony Mackie talked extensively about "Captain America: Civil War" in an interview with iamROGUE. Sure, he doesn't reveal anything concrete in the interview, but he does say a lot, as revealed in Comic Book Movie's transcription.

When asked if he knew he would be returning after his debut in "Winter Soldier," Mackie admits he wasn't sure. "When we finished 'Cap 2' I asked and begged to come back, literally. So I found out when everybody else did. I got a call from my manager. He said, 'They're going to put you in 'Cap 3.' It's always a surprise with Marvel, man. If you are not one of those like Thor or Cap, then you have no idea. The only person that had an early version of the script and read the outline was Chris Evans. I talk to him all the time because we are good friends and he would always say, 'Man, the movie is going to be good.' I'm like, am I in it? He would say, 'It's going to be a big movie.' So he would never tell me if I was in it or not. Even he keeps secrets. It's a dirty business."

Mackie also mentioned that he hopes to be included in the "Age of Ultron" reshoots -- and any other movie Marvel is making. "I hope. At this point, I have not [shot anything for 'Age of Ultron']. I hope, I hope, I hope, I hope. They're doing reshoots and that's why I'm letting them know I'm available. So whatever weekend they want me there, I'll fly myself out and shoot whatever scene they want me in. Even if it's like, 'Oh man, it's Iron Man and Hulk.' But I heard today in one of the interviews that someone thought I was in 'Ant-Man.' I hope so! I hope I'm in 'Ant-Man.' I hope I'm in 'Hulk 3,' I hope I'm in 'Thor 3,' and 'Guardians of the Galaxy 2.' Me and Groot can boogie!"

John Barrowman, the man under Malcolm Merlyn's hood, revealed in an interview with CBR that he'd be down with writing a comic about the dark archer. BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE

USA Today tried to get Scoot McNairy to reveal his role in the superhero film, but he wasn't budging. "Man, I would love to spend hours with you about it but I don't know if you'd see me in another movie if I did," said McNairy. He then offered up a longer and even more cryptic answer.

"It's definitely 100% a character I've never played and I can't speak too freely on it, but yeah, getting into that thing was definitely something I had to wrap my head around emotionally in order to play that character. But with that being said, I had a lot of fun doing it when I was in the process of shooting on it -- my head was in a different place but I'm really excited to see how it turns out and what they do with it and see the film."

THE FLASH

"Flash" executive producer Andrew Kreisberg revealed in an interview with Variety that "Arrow" actors Emily Bett Rickards and Brandon Routh will be guest starring in the eighteenth episode, which will be titled "All-Star Team-Up."

"In episode four of 'Flash' when Felicity came by, it wasn't just a gag to have Felicity come by," explained Kreisberg. "It really was integrated into the story. When you reach what's going on in 'The Flash' at that point in the season, Barry is really at a crossroads. Having Felicity come by exactly when he needs her really plays into the whole storyline. It's fine because as ['Arrow' executive producer] Marc [Guggenheim] said, Ray Palmer is all about technology and STAR Labs is all about technology. We get to see Ray so happy to be in STAR Labs... With Cisco [Carlos Valdes] and Ray, they're new best friends. The STAR Labs team is going to help Ray further his ATOM project."

Even further in the future, "Gotham" showrunner Bruno Heller revealed in an interview with CBR that an upcoming episode will involve the Red Hood.

"That's a good question," said Heller when asked about the likelihood of costumed criminals showing up on the series. "Especially now that we have a pick up, I always take a long-term view of a show. I'm looking at several years. So we're in no hurry to [do that] -- there's going to be an episode that involves the Red Hood, which picks up that strand, the costume strand, and sort of gives a kind of philosophical base, if that's not too pretentious a word. Why costumes? What's the power of costumes? What's the power of a mask? All of that groundwork will be laid sort of culturally for that side of the DC Universe before we start rolling into the more spectacular spandex type of deal."
