THE FLASH

In an interview with MovieWeb, Robbie Amell discussed the future of Firestorm on both "Flash" and "Legends of Tomorrow."

"I haven't gotten any scripts [for 'Flash' season 2] yet, but it picks up immediately where the finale left off, because it was such a big cliffhanger, you have to," said Amell. "I don't know what I'd like to see. The nice thing about the finale was getting to actually play Ronnie. You saw Ronnie in my first episode, and then I was this schizophrenic, frightened man, and then I was trying to figure things out with my other half, and I finally got to kind of play Ronnie in the finale. I was enjoying that character. I'd like to play more with that, and the relationship with Danielle Panabaker's character Caitlin, but I always have so much fun shooting with Victor, so anything else Victor and I can shoot together would be great."

Regarding whether or not he would make an appearance on the upcoming spinoff series starring his Firestorm partner Garber, Amell said that "all of those questions will be answered shortly, but I can't actually tell you anything about it. What I can tell you is I'm going back to shoot more episodes of 'The Flash' in July."

DAREDEVIL

Marvel has announced that "Walking Dead" alum Jon Bernthal will play the Punisher in "Daredevil's" second season, describing the character as "a vigilante who aims to clean up New York City's Hell's Kitchen by any means necessary, no matter how lethal the results."

Marvel Head of Television Jeph Loeb had this to say about the casting: "Jon Bernthal brings an unmatched intensity to every role he takes on, with a potent blend of power, motivation and vulnerability that will connect with audiences. Castle's appearance will bring dramatic changes to the world of Matt Murdock and nothing will be the same."

The actor expressed his feelings about the news via Twitter.

In an interview with IGN, Chris Pratt talked a little bit about what a "Guardians" movie would look like if Marvel ever adapts "Planet Hulk" and sends the jade giant into outer space.

IZOMBIE

The Hollywood Reporter has an interview with "iZombie" showrunner Rob Thomas about last night's season finale and the upcoming second season.

Regarding the sudden departure of Liv's roommate after she found out the big secret, Thomas said that decision was made because of outside factors. "We decided to leave it open because Aly Michalka had booked a pilot [ABC's Chevy] and because she's not one of our series regulars, we weren't sure if we could get her back or when we could get her back and so we didn't want to pin ourselves into a corner," said Thomas. "We just needed an excuse for her to bolt and probably the way we answered that was going to be determined by whether or not her pilot went to series. Her pilot did not go to series, so we are hopeful we can bring her back next season."

Liv's last minute actions that saw her testing a cure on Blaine and Major will have an affect on the next season. "I would say expect side effects. They took a very untested drug and it will definitely have repercussions. They have not perfected a cure yet, and both Blaine and Major will enter season two as non-zombies, as fully human."

KINGSMAN: THE SECRET SERVICE

In an interview with MTV, Taron Egerton revealed what he knows about the upcoming "Kingsman" sequel.

"I don't even know if I'm involved yet," said Egerton. "I haven't been officially asked or anything. I've heard those rumors, but I haven't been spoken to about it yet. I don't know where it would go. I think it's definitely, scopes are expanding on the story that's already been told, or whether it will be a new story. I don't know... But, I'm very excited. Definitely."

WOLVERINE 3

Hugh Jackman revealed in an appearance on yesterday's "Live with Kelly and Michael" that a conversation with comedian Jerry Seinfeld made him finally decide to retire.

"[I'm] doing my last one," said Jackman. "I'm really good friends with Jerry Seinfeld and I was having a chat with him about a year ago at his birthday, and he was talking about why he finished the end of his series and how it was riding high. He said he'd always had this feeling and belief that you never know when your energy or the audience's energy is gonna dip over and people are like, 'Please go.' He said you should finish on a high. I've been doing it for seventeen years. I love it. I think the movies are getting better. And all of a sudden as we was talking, I went, 'This is it.'"

The actor first appeared as Wolverine in 2000's "X-Men" and has since appeared in four sequels and two solo spinoff films. "I'm more excited by this [upcoming] movie than ever before and I know in my gut that it's the right thing and hopefully in five years I'm not coming back here going, 'Why did I do that?'"
