STAR WARSThe official "Star Wars" YouTube channel has posted a message from J.J. Abrams on the set of "Episode VII" in Abu Dhabi, announcing the Force for Change charity movement, where fans can support UNICEF Innovation Labs and Programs for a chance to be in the movie. Support the initiative over at Omaze.

Variety spoke with former Pinewood Studios executive VP and current executive director of Abu Dhabi's twofour54, who discussed the draw of the location for the "Star Wars" team.

"There's a wide number of reasons why 'Star Wars' chose to shoot in Abu Dhabi. Obviously, straight off the bat, you've got to get the creative right," Baker told Variety. "We have a great selection of locations that appeal to those guys. Then, there is everything else that falls into place: production infrastructure, crew, equipment suppliers, and obviously a big one in the rebate."

JEM AND THE HOLOGRAMS"Jem and the Holograms" already landed Juliette Lewis, and now The Hollywood Reporter has revealed that "The Breakfast Club" and "Sixteen Candles" star Molly Ringwald will join the upcoming Hasbro adaptation. Considering both Ringwald and "Jem" are highly associated with the '80s, it could be a pretty good match.

iZOMBIEMinor news for the CW's "iZombie" -- according to Deadline, Rob Thomas' adaptation of the Vertigo Comics series will recast Alexandra Krosney, who played Peyton, Liv's best friend and roommate. No information on who would replace Krosney -- if anyone -- was revealed.

HONEST "X-MEN"The folks over at Honest Trailers took on the entire original "X-Men" trilogy. Decently funny stuff.
