In this feature, I share with you three comic book "easter eggs." An easter egg is a joke/visual gag/in-joke that a comic book creator (typically the artist) has hidden in the pages of the comic for readers to find (just like an easter egg). They range from the not-so-obscure to the really obscure. So come check 'em all out and enjoy! Also, click here for an archive of all the easter eggs featured so far! If you want to suggest an easter egg for a future column, e-mail me at bcronin@comicbookresources.com (do not post your suggestion in the comments section!).

Today we look at a variety of easter eggs, including Sif meeting the kids from South Park!

Enjoy!

First off, based on a suggestion from reader Charlie Esser, we take a look at Journey Into Mystery #650, where artist Valerio Schiti drew the kids from South Park...

enjoying some fun in the snow with Sif and the children of Volstagg...

Next, from Medieval Spawn/Witchblade #3, artist Brandon Peterson drew a WHOLE pile of easter eggs in this one scene....

Can you name all of the items in the background?

Finally, reader Kevin K. pointed out this Terry Austin Popeye easter egg (a Popeye easter egg I missed in our past edition of Terry Austin Popeye easter eggs) from New Teen Titans/Uncanny X-Men #1, penciled by Walter Simonson and inked by Terry Austin (Popeye is walking into the panel from the left side)...

Awesome suggestions, guys!
