Every week, I will be sharing with you three comic book "easter eggs." An easter egg is a joke/visual gag/in-joke that a comic book creator (typically the artist) has hidden in the pages of the comic for readers to find (just like an easter egg). Reader Glitchy suggested a few of these. I am sure there are more that I missed, so feel free to chime in in the comments about other easter eggs during the series by Adams that I missed!

First up, Adams pays homage to the writer of the mini-series, Ann Nocenti, in issue #1...

Next, Art Adams, Gumby fan extraordinaire, works Gumby into a scene in #3...

(That's also a Perry Como record, but I dunno if that's actually an Easter Egg or just an example of the kind of record this family might own)

And then, a scene in #5...

This famous panel in #2 has Gumby as well as a LOT of other characters, including Ed Grimley. How many other characters can you name (obviously, you can increase the size to more readily identify the various characters)?!
