Every week, I will be sharing with you three comic book "easter eggs." An easter egg is a joke/visual gag/in-joke that a comic book creator (typically the artist) has hidden in the pages of the comic for readers to find (just like an easter egg). They range from the not-so-obscure to the really obscure. So come check 'em all out and enjoy! Also, click here for an archive of all the easter eggs featured so far! If you want to suggest an easter egg for a future column, e-mail me at bcronin@comicbookresources.com (do not post your suggestion in the comments section!).

A few readers, with Matt G. being the first, suggested I mention the appearance of Doctor Who (the David Tennant version) and his companion, Rose Tyler, in Buffy the Vampire Slayer Season 8 #6, where Giles and Faith are in London...

Neat stuff. Georges Jeanty does a good Doctor!

Reader Nate pointed out this great scene in Strikeforce: Morituri #7 by Brent Anderson where they discover some various (very familiar to comic book fans) artifacts...

How many of the "artifacts" can YOU name?

Reader Nicol pointed out the great "Steranko effect" easter egg in Deadpool #-1 by Aaron Lopresti. The whole issue is intended as a Steranko homage, so at the end, it is only fitting that the man himself appears as an effect...

Okay, that is it for this week! Thanks for all the neat suggestions, folks!
