Duncan Jones' Warcraft is on track for release in a little more than two years, with several actors rumored for roles. One of those is Colin Farrell, said to be up for a lead part. Speaking with IGN, Farrell confirmed he's met with Jones about the project and has read the script, "and it's amazing."

"Duncan was cool," he said. "I sat with Duncan for a while and read the script, loved the script, and was as cool as can be."

But Farrell stopped short of giving anything away, largely because he doesn't "know what's happening with the film. I don't know where they are in the process." In other words, it's not a done deal just yet.

"The script was just really, really cool, and it's just a world that I never explored — and it's a really big and fantastical world," he said. "I can't imagine what he, being as visually gifted as he is, Duncan, and what he did on Moon with, like, a dime, I can't imagine what he'd do with this Warcraft."

Warcraft hits theaters on Dec. 18, 2015.
