When "The Flash" returns this week for its third season, viewers will find the characters radically changed by Barry Allen's alteration to the timeline, but perhaps few more than Cisco Ramon. In this new "Flashpoint" reality, the amiable, villain-naming engineering genius has parlayed his skills into a tech empire, and in the process transformed himself into what actor Carlos Valdes describes as "a snot-nosed billionaire."

In a new featurette released by The CW, we see Cisco as a smarmy businessman -- the richest man in America -- with no time for Barry, or, really anyone but himself. ("My money needs me," he says.) However, that's not to say there isn't room for the powerful head of Ramon Industries to change.

"I think, underneath all of that, there's still a pivotal core," Valdes says in the video. "He might just have a heart underneath."

At least the first part of "The Flash's" third season will center on the repercussions of Barry's decision to travel into the past to save his mother from the Reverse Flash. In Tuesday's season premiere, titled “What Would You Sacrifice To Have Everything You’ve Ever Wanted?," we find Barry retired from the superhero life and going on a date with Iris West, his parents alive, and Kid Flash as the new protector of Central City. That sounds about perfect, except that Barry is losing his powers and forgetting aspects of his former life, leaving it to the Reverse Flash to remind him that there's a price to meddling with time.

Returning Tuesday at 8 p.m. ET/PT on The CW, "The Flash" stars Grant Gustin, Candice Patton, Danielle Panabaker, Carlos Valdes, Tom Cavanagh, Jesse L. Martin, Keiynan Lonsdale and Tom Felton.
