What's a director to do after exploring the dreamscape and transforming Batman into one of the biggest box-office hits of the past decade? Travel the cosmos, of course. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Christopher Nolan is in talks to direct a film called Interstellar for Warner Bros. and Paramount Pictures.

Penned by Nolan's brother Jonathan Nolan, who co-wrote The Prestige, The Dark Knight and The Dark Knight Rises, the story centers on a group of explorers who travel through a wormhole, and their experiences with alternate dimensions and time travel. It's based on work created by theoretical, gravitational and astrophysicist Kip Thorne.

Steven Spielberg was previously attached to direct, but it's unclear whether he's still involved.
