Between ABC's "Agents of SHIELD," Netflix's multiple telivision series leading up to "The Defenders," and all the feature films hitting theaters like clockwork, Marvel's live-action universe is impressively expansive these days. The scope of its superhero stories range from intergalactic, world-threatening evils to petty street crimes -- but so far, there's been very little interaction between these two wildly different kinds of environments. If Chris Pratt has his way, however, we'll be seeing some pretty unlikely characters crossing paths.

"I think it would be awesome for Star-Lord to meet Vincent D’Onofrio’s Kingpin somehow," said Chris Pratt during a recent press tour interview with ScreenRant, adding, "I was always a fan of The Punisher. That was my dude who I loved growing up. I had the murals of him on my wall and stuff, so that would be pretty awesome."

Granted, Pratt admitted that he didn't have any ideas as to how the two wildly different sets of characters meet each other, and although Vincent D'Onofrio indicated he'd be up for reprising the role in whatever capacity (particularly via GotG), it doesn't seem likely that we'll be getting that particularly odd match-up to occur anytime soon. That being said, if a film as strange as "Guardians" could garner one of the most anticipated sequels of 2017, it sounds like almost anything is possible within the MCU.
