Although Star-Lord skyrocketed in popularity following the success of Marvel's "Guardians of the Galaxy," the hero hasn't exactly won over actor Chris Pratt's son son.

While promoting the film's upcoming sequel, "Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. 2," the actor revealed that his 4-year-old son Jack very much prefers Spider-Man to Peter Quill.

“He knows the first part of the film," Pratt told Bollywood Helpline. "I don’t know if he thinks it is cool but, he has seen the movies that I am in. He knows that I am Star-Lord. But as a matter of fact when I ask him ‘Who is your favorite superhero, Star-Lord?' he says ‘No, Spider-Man.' He just likes Spider-Man better.”

As to why his son may prefer the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man over Star-Lord, Pratt revealed he thinks it's due to Star-Lord not really having any superpowers. "Star-Lord can’t fly or shoot webs out of his hand," he said. "I think he [Jack] is more into super powers.”

While Pratt's son doesn't really get Star-Lord now, he'll probably be thrilled to see Pratt star alongside Spider-Man in the upcoming "Avengers: Infinity War." Pratt, who previously revealed he's nearly finished with his part on the film, gushed that "Infinity War" is exactly what the fans want.

Written and directed by James Gunn, “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2” stars Chris Pratt as Star-Lord, Zoe Saldana as Gamora, Dave Bautista as Drax the Destroyer, Vin Diesel as Baby Groot, Bradley Cooper as Rocket Raccoon, Michael Rooker as Yondu Udonta, Karen Gillan as Nebula, Pom Klementieff as Mantis, Elizabeth Debicki as Ayesha, Chris Sullivan as Taserface, Sean Gunn as Kraglin, Glenn Close as Irani Rael and Kurt Russell as Ego.
