It's a long way between Knowhere and Earth, but Guardians of the Galaxy star Chris Pratt certainly isn't opposed to Star-Lord dropping in on Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

"I wouldn't rule it out," the actor told Zap2It during a press event for NBC's Parks and Recreation. "Marvel would have to decide, but if it made sense for the brand and for the story, yeah sure."

The ABC series, which stars Clark Gregg in his film role as Phil Coulson, has already featured appearance from such Marvel Cinematic Universe mainstays as Samuel L. Jackson, Cobie Smulders, Jaimie Alexander and Hayley Atwell

"What's pretty neat about Marvel [is] the mythology exists across all mediums -- comic books to films to television," Pratt said. "It's one giant universe so it's not beyond the realm of possibility."

Pratt reprises his role as Star-Lord in Guardians of the Galaxy 2, opening May 5, 2017.
