Chris Evans wants Brie Larson on #TeamCap. Or, he at least wants her to have "Captain" in her title.

With the Oscar-winning Larson reportedly in talks for the part of Carol Danvers AKA Captain Marvel, the "Captain America: Civil War" leading man extended his support for the actress, and expressed hope that his former costar will join him as the Marvel Cinematic Universe's Kree-powered military high-flyer and Avenger.

Speaking to a panel at Wizard World Philadelphia, Evans was asked about Larson's potential casting. "I just heard about that. I really hope that happens," he said, according to ComicBook.com.

Were Evans and Larson to find themselves in an onscreen team-up, it wouldn't even be the first time the pair shared the billing in a comic book adaptation's ensemble, as Evans explained. "I love Brie Larson. We did a movie together back in '09, 'Scott Pilgrim vs The World.'" And while a Marvel movie would be a different task than playing a foil to Bryan Lee O'Malley's slacker hero, the superhero veteran Evans thinks it is one his former co-star is up to.

"I cannot say enough about Brie Larson. I think she's phenomenal," he said.
