Conjuring up even more anticipation for Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, Riverdale executive producer Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa has offered the first glimpse at a script for the newly confirmed CW drama.RELATED: Will Riverdale Share a Universe with Chilling Adventures of Sabrina?Aguirre-Sacasa unveiled a photo the first page of the script, which showcases an exchange between Sabrina and her boyfriend Harvey Kinkle. In the accompanying tweet, the writer/producer referred to the script as the "Perfect project for October as the #Riverdale family expands."

Chilling Adventures of Sabrina is based on the Archie Comics title of the same name, by Aguirre-Sacasa and artist Robert Hack, which reimagines Sabrina the Teenage Witch (aka Sabrina Spellman) in a dark coming-of-age story that’s drawn comparisons to such films as Rosemary’s Baby and The Exorcist.

The TV drama will find young Sabrina trying to reconcile her dual nature — she’s half-witch, half-mortal — while standing against the evil forces that threaten her, her family and the daylight world humans inhabit. The comic is set in the 1960s, but there’s no indication whether the adaptation will be a period piece.

Aguirre-Sacasa will be joined as executive producer by Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter, Lee Toland Krieger and Archie Comics Co-CEO Jon Goldwater.

While Chilling Adventures of Sabrina doesn't have an official release date, it's planned to debut during the 2018-19 television season as a companion to Riverdale, which returns Oct. 11 for its second season.
