Make way, Betty and Veronica -- the character once deemed "too sexual" for the world of Archie Comics is back!

Cheryl Blossom is making her return in October for the second year of the franchise reboot. Blossom's original purpose in the "Archie" comics was as a third entrant for those vying for Archie's affections, but under writer Mark Waid's guidance, the new Cheryl Blossom should be a bit more fleshed out.

Series mainstay Veronica Lodge has said goodbye to Riverdale High School, opting to take her schooling to Pembrooke Academy. This shift in setting brings her eye-to-eye with Blossom, Pembrooke's queen bee, who isn't all about making friends.

"All New Archie" has slowly been reintroducing characters and settings from the series' original run, with Blossom being the latest example. Her reintroduction, announced via Hitfix, is sure to cause even more strife between the Riverdale gang.
