Since it’s the first time four shows have crossed over for one storyline, The CW’s “Invasion!” crossover is a huge deal, and the network has decided to mark the occasion with new opening credits for the event.
The brief sequence opens with “Supergirl’s” shield, before “Arrow’s” symbol takes it place in its center. Then, an “L” for “DC’s Legends of Tomorrow” superimposes itself over the “Arrow” symbol, before “The Flash” title card slides over that. All four symbols appear to hover suspended in space, which is appropriate, as the protagonists from all four shows team up to fight an alien invasion.
Starring Melissa Benoist as the Girl of Steel, “Supergirl” airs Mondays at 8 pm ET/PT on The CW. The network is also home to Grant Gustin as the Scarlet Speedster in “The Flash,” airing Tuesdays at 8 pm ET/PT, Stephen Amell as the Emerald Archer in “Arrow,” airing Wednesdays at 8 pm ET/PT and Arthur Darvill, Brandon Routh and Caity Lotz in “DC’s Legends of Tomorrow,” airing Thursdays at 8 pm ET/PT.
