CCI, Day 2: Friday Photo Parade

Very quickly upon entering the convention Friday morning it became clear the day would not be about taking pictures of comics creators, but of costumed people. There were loads of costume con goers. Some with phenomenal costumes, others … not so much. And even one I fell in love with instantly.

The convention was packed! Someone really should do weather reports from inside the convention. There are sections where it gets uncomfortably warm as the traffic is nuts, whereas you walk four or five aisles away and suddenly it cools up and is far less humid. Terribly odd.

Well, enjoy the purty photos.

Ande Parks Army Guys. Whopeee.

Outside the con center, across the trolley tracks, were erected very cool “Sky Captain” robots. You’ve heard of Superman Blue and Superman Red. The next evolution, Superman Black.

Scary Cat Man Thing. Apparently a documentary on Bravo or the Discovery Channel has been done on this guy. Read this article to “understand” what’s going on here. Yes, it’s all real.
