CCI 2012 Sunday Photo Parade

We’ve already brought you Preview Night/Thursday, Friday and Saturday’s photo parades, and today CBR presents Sunday at the 2012 Comic-Con International in San Diego through the eyes of CBR staff photographer Pinguino Kolb, who captured Hollywood celebs, comic book elite and cosplayers, cosplayers, cosplayers!

CBR founder and man about town Jonah “I survived Comic-Con and all I got was this Photo Parade” Weiland chimes in as always with his inimitable loving snark!

DC’s Dan DiDio DC’s Bob Wayne

All I see here is a bunch of people in stripes and possibly someone from Scott Pilgrim. I’m of a mixed mind about this one. I love “Up” and this is decent cosplay, but something’s unsettling here. It also could just be the questionable Club sandwich I just ate.

The dalek had a question at the panel! It asked in its dalek voice. Art and Franco! Aw yeah!

A pretty nice Pheonix, but why do we have to zombify everything now? Joshua Hale Fialkov

Mark Buckingham Stan Sakai

Felicia Day Not a clue.

Pinguino says “Adorable GladOs” but all I see is a bald dude photo bombing. Are we really doing LMFAO cosplay now?

While the male Riddler is questionable, the rest are great. Especially the female Riddle. Barbies! I kinda love this.

Hall H emptied into a sea of fedoras. That’s a bit freaky. Only at Comic-Con. Batman. Apparently on his Batfarm. Striking a pose, because that’s what Batman does on the Batfarm.

Katie Cook Sawdust Bear

Is the Dobby backpack the new Yoda backpack? Andrew Gaska

Rob Reger, creator of Emily the Strange Marvel’s Agent-M, Ryan Penagos

Erik Larsen and Marc Silvestri Rob Liefeld

Nate Bellegarde Jon Armstrong and Mike Costa

Please don’t take this wrong, but I never tire of seeing Power Girl cosplay. It really is a striking costume. Well done. I dunno. I mean, I suppose it’s cool because it’s made out of cardboard, but really I’m finding it hard to care.

Steven Moffat and Caroline Skinner The Doctor, Matt Smith

Arthur Darvill Karen Gillan

Is this LGBTQ Star Wars cosplay? Kinda brilliant. Bill Pulkovski

John Vanfleet Blond and Nei Ruffino

Mark Brooks TMNT, or are they actually aliens from another planet? Oy.

Link! The WB stage inside the con center.

At first I thought this was a little girl doing Rainbow Bridge cosplay. Then I realized that’s probably not the case and to just move on. Roger Langridge

Gotta say, thus far pretty unimpressed with Sunday’s cosplay action, but then we get Fake Stan Lee and everything is made better. I wonder how often these two get asked, “So, how do you pee with that costume on?” And I hope they answer, “Uhh, we take it off before we pee.”
