2011’s Comic-Con International in San Diego is now a memory, but the sights and sounds of the show continue to burn bright in the minds of those who attended the annual SoCal pop culture event. That said, it’s never too early to look back on the frenzy and mayhem that took place at and about San Diego’s world famous convention center, and Comic Book Resources is happy to help you relive, or, if you weren’t able to make it this year, experience vicariously the happy insanity!

Today, we share the final Photo Parade of the show, but fear not — you can relive the excitement of the previous four days here: Preview Night, Day One, Day Two and Day Three, not to mention Sonia Harris’ photographic look at the fashion, art and culture of the show, and now it’s time for Sunday, with the expected gallery of Hollywood celebs, big time comics pros and the ever-present, always popular cosplayers!

As always, CBR’s Executive Producer Jonah Weiland — AKA The Photo Parade Grand Marshall — provides commentary and some good-natured snark to the photos taken by CBR Staff Photographer Pinguino Kolb and Caitlin Holland. As always, we hope you enjoyed our pics from the big show and hope you check back with us again next year!!

Dr. Teeth! Points for originality, negative points for execution.

The following photos are by Caitlin Holland

Walking, talking, coffee-drinking Tardis Yowzers! Super sexy pirate! Forget pirate wenches, lady pirates are where it’s at!

Kick-Ass – are these home made Kick-Ass costumers or purchased? Beginning to wonder. Steampunk w/ dragon.

A pair of Doraemon cosplayers Female David Bowie “Labyrinth” cosplayer – very sweet.

Like father, like clone/daughter – great shot Caitlin! Badass Wolvie in X-Force garb

Scott Pilgrim cosplay Doctor Seriously Strange

Powdered Toooooast Man! Honestly, the more I look at this photo the more aggressive I feel towards this guy. Odd. Creepy Chris Reeves Superman statue – there may be such a thing as too life like.

Steampuunk? Goth? Gothpunk? DJ Deadmau5

She has a Hello Kitty Umbrella … so some Hello Kitty thing? No clue, but super cute.r Batman attempts to strike fear into the hearts of assistance dogs. Rude. At least he gave him a bat-treat.

Bat-crew – nice costumes, kids. Great stuff. Silver Surfer cosplay comes off as a tad creepy to me.

That being said, Avatar cosplay is far creepier
