Official Press Release

Comic Book Resources, the most popular and trusted website for breaking news and commentary on all aspects of the comic book world, today announces its plans for this year's Comic-Con International in San Diego. Along with the industry's most thorough primary reporting of comic books and comics culture, Comic Book Resources provides comprehensive coverage of the many movie, TV and video game adaptations through its main site and network of blogs. Throughout the first half of 2014, Comic Book Resources has seen its highest traffic to date, reaching 6.3 million monthly visitors in the month of May alone.

Over the course of Comic-Con 2014 -- the biggest annual event for pop culture fans, running July 23-27 -- Comic Book Resources will reveal exclusive news from major publishers, provide live coverage from the convention's top panels and deliver the show's latest major headlines. This year, CBR continues its partnership with top movie and TV website HITFIX, which syndicates our comic book content on its HEROFIX sub-site.

"I'm always amazed at how comic books continue to drive pop culture, and we're perfectly positioned to watch that unfold," said Comic Book Resources Executive Producer Jonah Weiland. "With 15 years of covering Comic-Con International in San Diego and eight years of fun on the CBR Yacht, we're looking forward to the excitement and surprises of this year's show."

During the show, CBR will be headquartered in its traditional location on a 52-foot yacht docked at the marina directly behind the San Diego Convention Center, where the CBR News team will conduct video interviews throughout the weekend with the biggest names in comics, movies and TV.

Publicists interested in bringing talent to the yacht for interviews or are interested in setting up stories during the show, please email CBR Executive Producer Jonah Weiland.

A limited number of Comic-Con sponsorship packages are still available. If you're interested in advertising on CBR during our biggest traffic weekend of the year, contact sales@comicbookresources.com.

Journalists are welcome to contact Comic Book Resources prior to the event, to check in on the action at CBR's floating newsroom and studio.
