Official Press Release

Comic Book Resources, the most popular and trusted website featuring breaking news about fans' favorite comics franchises, graphic novels, movie adaptations and video games, today announces its plans for coverage of Comic-Con International in San Diego. After 2011's re-launch of the site, Comic Book Resources continued to expand its coverage and columns in addition to its multimedia-rich environment with more streaming video, blogs, breaking news and much more. Throughout the first half of 2013, Comic Book Resources has seen its highest traffic to date, reaching 5.5 million monthly visitors in the month of May alone.

Throughout Comic-Con -- the biggest yearly event internationally for pop culture fans, running July 17-21 -- Comic Book Resources offers exclusive, breaking news, as well as interviews with some of the most sought-after celebrities and industry insiders from the worlds of comics, film and television. This year, Comic Book Resources is proud to renew its partnership with top movie critics website ROTTEN TOMATOES, who will again syndicate CBR's feature film coverage from the convention.

In addition to that team-up, CBR has paired with top movie website HITFIX, which is now syndicating our comic book content on its newly-launched HEROFIX sub-site.

"It's been a huge year for comics and, as a result, CBR," said Comic Book Resources Executive Producer Jonah Weiland. "As Hollywood remains dominated by comic book adaptations -- both on television and film -- CBR continues to ride the wave to increase our reach, create new partnerships and, most importantly, offer an exciting line up of exclusive stories and interviews coming from Comic-Con!"

During Comic-Con 2013, Comic Book Resources will reveal exclusive news from Marvel Comics, DC Comics and every major publisher, video game company, television network and film studio. CBR will be headquartered in its traditional location on a 48-foot yacht docked at the marina directly behind the San Diego Convention Center where the Comic Book Resources news team will conduct video interviews with comics creators and celebrities throughout the weekend.

Publicists interested in bringing talent to the yacht for interviews or are interested in setting up stories during the show, please e-mail CBR Executive Producer Jonah Weiland.

Journalists are welcome to contact Comic Book Resources prior to the event, to check in on the action at CBR's floating newsroom and studio.
