There's a great inspiration that can be found in the most honorable characters among cartoons. They do the right thing or at least try to, as often as they can, and they manage to say the right thing even in the worst circumstances. On the flip side, there are the less inspirational characters who may or may not do the right thing and go out of their way to say whatever they want.

When she discovers an underground wrestling group that encourages trash talk, she dives into a rough-housing character that is not far from her own.

Aside from enjoying the trash talk during wrestling, she has a tendency to blurt out harsh words when she's upset and she's not ashamed to insult her enemies whether she's a match for them or not.

bill cipher from gravity falls

Stan has no qualms about cheating his customers as he's incredibly greedy, and his rude mannerisms are accompanied by crude insults that he more often than not shouts out against those who try to hurt him or his family.

He won't bad-mouth just anyone, only those who pose as a threat to himself and his family, like Gideon and Bill Cypher. At the end of the day, he has his own way of sharing that he cares, the people closest to him just have to accept the foul trash talk that repeatedly comes out of his mouth.

7 Batman Beyond: Terry Mixes In Witty Disses & Banter In His Vigilante Work

terry from batman beyond

When Bruce Wayne became too old to fight crime as Batman, a new, younger hero rose up to serve the caped crusader's vigilante justice. That happened to be Terry McGinnis, a young, brash, and yet compassionate teenager, who took on the role as soon as he realized lives were in danger.

As heroic as Terry is for choosing the double life of a high school crime fighter, he does have a bit of aggression within him. Unlike Bruce, Terry is a lot more headstrong and brash in Batman Beyond, and it shows in the way he takes the time to ridicule the villains whenever he has the chance. It's not that he's in any way arrogant, he just has a great deal of aggression and doesn't think things as thoroughly as Bruce would have in his day.

6 Avatar The Last Airbender: Toph's Trash Talk Stems From Her Time In The Earth Rumble Ring

Toph Grinning

When Aang first saw a vision of her, she appeared to be a playful, giggling little girl, so when he discovered her at Earth Rumble, an earthbending one-on-one championship, he was surprised to see her roughhousing more than the grown men were.

Although she was raised in a wealthy home and understood all the proper etiquette, she leaves all that behind after she joins Team Avatar. Along their journey, Toph's bad-mouthing and rude ways of speaking are something that her friends have to accept to some degree, and at the same time, Toph has to learn to not hurt the feelings of those she cares about.

Aside from Kim, she does have a tendency to insult Drakken, her evil cohort, partly because he's an easy target and more so because his plans are short-sighted in her eyes.

4 She-Ra & The Princesses Of Power: Catra Makes Enemies Just By Opening Her Mouth

catra from she-ra

At the very beginning of She-Ra and the Princesses of Power, Catra is a bit more playful of a villain with great potential for evil, but before she has the chance to cause havoc with her militant strength, she does so with her words alone.

Before her best friend Adora leaves to join the heroes, Catra is more sarcastic and teasing, but after the two friends part ways, Catra becomes more callous with her words, consistently mocking Adora and her new friends. She constantly taunts Adora and uses her trash talk to manipulate others. It's effective in exacting her nefarious plans, but toward the later seasons, it leaves her with few allies, let alone friends.

She's taunted guards, patrolmen, and even her own sister Lilith, who's on the side of the law, when they've crossed paths. 2 Helluva Boss: Blitz's Trash Talk Never Stops For Either His Enemies Or His Friends

blitzo from helluva boss

There's never a moment with Blitz where he isn't at the very least cursing up a storm. His vulgar language is paired up with repeated insults of rivals, exes, and even his own subordinate Moxxie. His trash-talking can be fun for the audience, but not when it's directed at the wrong person.

Blitz has a contradicting part of his personality where he can be the friendliest, most supporting guy one minute and then a huge jerk the next. It makes him difficult to be around when he's constantly trying to keep everyone around him at an arm's length and his insults and trash talk are a part of that anti-social side to him.

1 The Boondocks: Riley Freeman Has Mastered The Art Of Trash Talk At A Very Young Age

Riley from the boondocks

Although he's only 8 years old, Riley speaks a great deal of adult language that should only be said by adults. This includes cursing people out to their faces with the intention of insulting them and swearing as often as he can.

Riley might come across as immature, but he's just as intelligent as his brother, revealing an aptitude for debate even against a professional lawyer. Of course, the case he was discussing was R. Kelly's persecution and how unjust it was for him to miss out on his next album, but regardless, Riley's well-thought-out arguments were highly impressive for someone his age, even with the accompanied swears.
