CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE FIRST AVENGER
Thanks to Comic Book Movie, we have video of the V-E Day shoot at Trafalgar Square:
Also, WENN has posted more photos from that shoot.
Starring Chris Evans, release date: July 22nd, 2011
The lads at Hey U Guys have a new poster and international trailer for the film. I’ve chosen to link to the trailer because it’s that sort of day. There’s some Borgnine in it:
Release date: October 22nd, 2010
Director Scott Stewart and star Paul Bettany explain the premise of the film to MTV News:
Release date: May 13th, 2011
Retraction time! Our pals at Spinoff Online noticed this posting at the Twitter page of Stana Katic: “Re: confusion about ‘The Authority.’ By ‘looking into,’ I meant looking into READING the comic books. Was not cast or offered role in movie.” In the party environment, it’s easy to mistake interest in reading a book as eyeing it for a role or project. Although, it would be amazing to see “The Authority” brought to the screen just to see how much of it survived the adaptation.
Release date: TBA
James Cameron continues to dangle the “Battle Angel” carrot. This time, he does it for MTV News:
Release date: TBA
According to Deadline, Stephanie Jacobsen and Naoko Mori have joined the SyFy pilot about people with obscure super powers. You may remember Mori as Tosh on “Torchwood.”
THE WALKING DEAD
In case you missed it, we here at CBR have the four minute preview of the series, coming to TV screens this Halloween:
According to Michael Ausiello and his unembedable Ausiello TV, Erica Durance will play Isis in the tenth season episode of the same name. I understand she also plays Lois Lane on the show, so make what you will of this bit of news. I suppose it’s another chance to see the actress in something kind of sheer.
Returns: September 24th, 2010
Grr, argh. Trouble again with the car; both legitimate and trival. Always hate to be car-less, but them’s the brakes (ooh, bad pun). Meanwhile, if any of you in the great, wide Internet discover something awesome, disheartening, or just plain weird, let us know! Take credit, come up with a clever nickname, or go anonymous. The choice is yours. Fresh rumors and movie news every weekday morning. I am Erik Amaya, ready for the future threat of a service bill.
