‘Captain America’ ‘Hero Gear’ ads urge kids to pick a side

With “Captain America: Civil War” just a few months away from release, Marvel fans of all ages — just like the movie’s heroes — are being urged to pick a side. Will you stand with Captain America or Iron Man when the superhero civil war breaks out? Now kids can get in on the side-choosing action with a new line of toys from Hasbro.

The “Civil War Hero Gear” line, which was originally revealed in January, features an Iron Man helmet and gauntlet and a Captain America mask and shield. Now these action-packed accessories have come to life in two new TV spots, ones that urge kids to pick between a “shield that fires back” or “armor that blasts.”

The dueling dress-up accessory sets are available in stores starting this month, so the time to pick a side is now. “Captain America: Civil War” arrives in theaters on May 6.
