Bruce Campbell and Lucy Lawless have a lot of work cut out for them as the world is once again overrun by Deadites, but that doesn't mean the co-stars of "Ash vs. Evil Dead" can't offer another hero some friendly advice.

While promoting their upcoming Starz series, Campbell was asked by the LA Times how his character remains sane in the face of a seemingly endless onslaught of blood, guts and terror. Replying that, frankly, Ash is no longer sane, the actor then turned his attention to the problem of characters that are "too perfect." Namely, Batman and Superman.

"Batman fighting Superman? To me that's, sorry Warner Bros., it's just a mistake," Campell stated. "Because most fans are going to go, "Baloney, Superman, in his sleep.'"

When it's pointed out that Batman dons a special armor in order to combat his super-powered foe, Campbell remained unimpressed. "Well he's gonna need it -- he's fighting Superman! His face is exposed. Punch Ben Affleck in the face, you're done. Walk away. What's for lunch?"

At this point, Lawless joined in, saying, "He's like, 'No no not the face, not the face!'"

"Hey, nice try," continued Campbell. "I'm not buying what they're selling. Because OK, Kryptonite, well, who's carrying around Kryptonite? Only Lex Luthor."

"Ah, Batman's suit," Lawless rejoined. "Hello."

"Batman's suit is made out of Kryptonite?... What a crock. Where's he gonna get it, on the Internet?"

"You can get anything on the Internet," Lawless pointed out. "Kryptonite underpants."

"Ash vs. Evil Dead" premieres October 31; "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" lands in theaters March 16, 2016.
