"Call of Duty: Black Ops III's" zombie horde is shambling over to Dark Horse Comics. This October, "Green Lantern: New Guardians" scribe Justin Jordan and "Devolution" artist Jonathan Wayshak will bring "Call of Duty's" recent zombie adventure to Dark Horse in a new six-issue miniseries titled "Call of Duty: Zombies."

According to the series description,

On his quest to secure an ancient artifact known as The Kronorium, Doctor Edward Richtofen enlists the help of The Tranzit Crew, a rag tag group of survivors last seen in the 'Black Ops II Zombies' installment 'Buried.' On a deeply unstable and fractured future Earth, Stuhlinger, Misty, Russman, and Marlton battle for survival against the undead horde, as they slowly uncover the truth behind Richtofen's mysterious reappearance. The 'Call of Duty: Zombies' miniseries follows these characters' perilous journey of discovery, filling in crucial pieces of the larger Zombies story.

Jordan and Wayshak will work off a story by Jason Blundell and Craig Houston, who work with Activision Publishing, Inc. and Treyarch and act as Zombies Director and the studio's Lead Writer respectively. Simon Bisley will provide covers for the series.

Blundell will appear at San Diego Comic Con for Dark Horse's Comics and Video Games panel to discuss the "Call of Duty: Zombies" saga, while both Blundell and Houston will attend a special guest signing at Dark Horse Booth #2615,

"Call of Duty: Zombies" is scheduled to go on sale October 19.
