On Earth-2, heroic "The Flash" supporting character Caitlin Snow (Danielle Panabaker) had become a murderous metahuman named Killer Frost, mirroring the character's comic book history. After the recent time-travel shenanigans of Flashpoint, the Caitlin audiences known and love shares her evil counterpart's abilities. In recent episodes of "The Flash," we've seen her use those abilities, both deliberately and accidentally. A new clip from the tonight's episode, "Monster" shows her metahuman powers put to the test.

That's Caitlin with Dr. Tannhauser, her mother. The two seem to share a the kind of fraught relationship we've come to expect from the CW's superhero shows. Viewers already know that Caitlin will struggle with her mother treating her more like a test subject than a family member, and now fans are finally starting to see what that looks like.

Since the start of the new season, "The Flash" has seeded a number of mysteries, but the one perhaps most discussed by fans is Caitlin's burgeoning superpowers. Where do these powers come from? Will they drive her to evil, just as they did with her doppelganger? Just how powerful is she? As you can see in this new clip, she's pretty powerful, and that's just the tip of the iceberg (pun intended).

Starring Grant Gustin as the Scarlet Speedster, “The Flash” airs Tuesdays at 8 pm ET/PT on The CW. The series also stars Jesse L. Martin, Tom Cavanagh, Carlos Valdes, Candice Patton, Danielle Panabaker, Keiynan Lonsdale and more.
